Socketed items

In Antaris you have the option to customize your items however you want with socketed items.

They come in three types:

• 3 sockets
• 4 sockets
• 5 sockets

Any character can use items with 3 sockets but 8th level is required for 4 sockets and 15th for 5.

Additionally you can increase the sockets of any item with the following conditions:

• You need 3 items of the same type and number of sockets as the one you want to upgrade.
• You need the item you want to upgrade.

For example, if you have a ring with 3 sockets, and you use it and want to upgrade it you need to find 3 more rings with 3 sockets. Once you access the area to merge the items, upon completing a quest at level 15, you will see a table and 3 containers to place the 3 identical items. Place then your main item in the table and use the lever to upgrade it.

For weapons, and armors the type doesn't matter as long as they have the same amount of sockets.

The amount of properties available that you will be able to add to a socketed item will improve with time.
