New player guide

When you get into the game, you will be presented with a ton of options. Although all of them seem to be available, some of them, like the races or subraces are not really available.

With your first character you will be only able to select the base races.

After choosing one of them is time to select the class of your character. As the first character we recommend something versatile like a Cleric (with Animal domain for better summons) or Druid, but Fighters work as well.

Get the henchmen in the starting area. Choose the Fighter although the Cleric can also help you. The Fighter is a Dwarf and starts with a Dwarven Waraxe but if you look at his character sheet you will see that is better suited to use the longsword, so buy that from the starting area merchant and equip him and yourself with that.

Head to Benzor and in the Temple of Life you will be able to buy some Swordsman's Belt that will help you against the first few enemies until you get some good loot. After that, head to the sewers and kill as many stuff as you can.

There you will find your first random items that will help you and your henchmen become more and more powerful.

Once you reach level 5, start heading to the bank to store the gold you have as you will lose it when you die.

From there on, you can just play as normal, your character will be able to fight accordingly to their level and you will start unlocking races and subraces.

Then, just have fun and remember, the key to this game is JKS: Just Kill Stuff
