Antaris quest system

The Antaris Quest System (AQS) is a system that allows us to quickly create quests that rewards XP and Gold with very little to no effort. The quests can also reward custom items but that will require the creation of the item itself, however this is almost close to no effort.

The system works by creating the quests in our database and specifying what's the tag of the questgiver for that quest. Then the questgiver will present you with the available quests for your level and a description of its rewards.

This quests are tied to the Antaris Random Dungeon System (or ARDS) and this allows us to quickly create a quest and a dungeon for it in less than 2 minutes.

This leads us to the possibility of adding more and more content to populate the world and add a lot of diversity so we can enjoy all the different options the server has to offer.

Additionally to this, there are simple quest that don't require you to go to a dungeon and instead bring some items back to the quest giver.

The quest giver will also show different icons depending on the status:

  • Yellow/gold question mark: You have a quest available to turn in.
  • White/silver question mark: You have active quests with the questgiver.
  • Yellow/gold exclamation mark: You have available quests to accept.
  • White/silver exclamation mark: You will have available quests to accept in the future.

Some examples:

To get a quest you just have to go to any of the quest givers and talk to them, the interface is very intuitive:

Get back to them and complete once you get all the required items:
